How I can help

I offer solution focused clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children from 10 years old.

It is the client’s preference whether to receive online or face to face therapy depending upon their needs and circumstances.Both therapies are just as successful as each other.

I can help with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, phobias and much more, in a solution focused, positive way to create positive change.

In order for therapy to be successful, there must be a positive alliance between the therapist and client for trust and confidence to grow.

Successful therapy is a collaborative relationship where the rapport between therapist and client grows over consecutive sessions. Mutual trust is essential, where the client needs to trust the therapist, but also that the therapist needs to trust that the client will hold up their side of the relationship with a good level of cooperation.

This allows the client and therapist to be able to work towards the goals that the client has set for themselves and to conquer the problem that has brought the client to initially seek therapy.

Online Sessions

Online therapy offers exactly the same therapy as face to face  sessions just in a different location.

It is a perfect form of therapy for those who would prefer the comfort and security of their own homes, for those who need to save on time and convenience, and it is accessible wherever you live.

There is no need to plan travel time in and it can suit those with very busy days.

During our current times, online therapy also gives the option for social distancing.

The solution focused approach for therapy is a goal-focused, evidence-based therapeutic philosophy, combining positive psychology theories and practices.

It is future-focused and goal-directed, allowing the client to focus on solutions, rather than their problems. This speeds the therapeutic process up and enables the client to reach their goals more quickly.

By changing our old and sometimes negative patterns of behaviour, solution focused therapy allows us to be able to cope better when faced with life’s challenges. 

Hypnotherapy works by bringing together the conscious (intelligent) mind with the subconscious (primitive) mind through deep relaxation allowing  receptiveness to positive insights and ideas.
