“I had Kate as a Therapist for 3 months for a programme of Hypnotherapy.
My issues at the time of Therapy were not necessarily anything materially wrong, but a negative mentality which produced a depression like mind set. I struggled to focus on positives and dwelled on negatives too much. After an intense argument with someone close to me, I decided I needed to find better ways to think to prevent me being such a negative person both for my myself and my loved ones
Kate’s initial session was an establishment of how the treatment worked and the science behind it. Kate was approachable, enthused and passionate person who very much felt like I could discuss my issues. After deciding to progress with the treatment, I met Kate in person. She was very courteous, and never seemed to Judge me. In that session in person we discussed what the actual issues were. After establishing the issues, she ensured the focus was on solutions rather than problems and understanding why I have those issues.
Over the course of three months, using our sessions, homework of a happy diary and tapes when I went to sleep, I trained my brain to think more positively. The enforcement of focusing on everything that went right rather than wrong led to a happier mentality and crucially the ability to ‘catch myself’ when negatively spiralling. When Kate decided I no longer needed Therapy, my depression like symptoms were gone and I felt a happy person. Kate has improved my quality of life and taught my brain habits which have made me a better person for myself and my loved ones. I would recommend Kate’s approach as something that would be beneficial to the majority of people in making their lives a bit more positive.”

I required guidance and Kate was there. I had tried a counsellor previously and although they had really assisted, Kate’s approach was very different to what I imagined.
